Description

‘P-TPO 835 flex’ belongs to the family of thermoplastic polyolefins (TPOs) and combines polypropylene (PP) with a non-crosslinked elastomer. The material offers excellent impact strength, flexibility, and chemical resistance to acids, bases, and ozone, along with a low density. It merges the well-known advantages of PP filaments with enhanced toughness and long-term durability.

Thanks to its non-water-attracting properties, P-TPO 835 flex is ready for printing immediately—no drying is required before printing. It can be processed with standard 3D printers (preferably direct-drive extruders), but as with any thermoplastic material, the printer must be adjusted and optimized for material feeding. P-TPO 835 flex offers excellent adhesion to P-surface 141.
Typical applications include functional components requiring elasticity and surface comfort, such as parts in medical engineering, automotive interiors (bumpers, dashboards, door panels, seating elements), or consumer goods like plugs, housings, toys, and shoe soles.

DiPrinted parts made with ‘P-TPO 835 flex’ are impact-resistant, lightweight, chemical- and water-resistant, dishwasher-safe, recyclable, and stable up to 100 °C.
In addition, the material is biologically safe, color-homogeneous, weldable with PP, and provides an appealing surface quality.

Printing surface ‘P-surface 141’ (logo facing up), optionally fixed with ‘P-adhesive 220’
Fixing method Apply gentle pressure using the ‘P-roller 621’

Storage instructions:

In order to guarantee consistent printing performance, P-TPO should be used and consumed as soon as possible after opening. It is recommended to store opened material at a temperature of 15 – 25°C and in a plastic bag to avoid dust contamination.

‘P-filament’ was tested on several different 3D printer models. However, PPprint GmbH cannot guarantee compatibility with all available 3D printer models. The customer is solely responsible for ensuring that ‘P-filament’ is always installed, used, and stored according to our recommendations.
If a customer claims that the product is defective or faulty within the warranty period, but after an appropriate inspection by PPprint GmbH, the product is found to be non-defective or non-faulty, PPprint GmbH reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to invoice the customer for the costs and expenses incurred by PPprint GmbH in connection with such inspection. The amount of the costs shall be determined on the basis of the prices of PPprint GmbH valid at that time.
